Mansour Amer, founder of Amer Group, told Daily News Egypt that the company will launch an integrated tourism project in the west of Port Said on an area of 90 feddans with investments exceeding EGP 4bn.
Amer explained that the project will include many five-star restaurants, a small hospital, club, shopping mall, and a school. He added that the project will be complete within three years, noting that it is now in the licensure phase and will begin the implementation phase soon.
He added that the project will provide 6,000 sustainable job opportunities and 4m opportunities during the construction phase.
Amer stressed that the project will be a turning point towards modernity and unprecedented tourism and entertainment services in Port Said, and will serve as a magnet for all the surrounding provinces, benefiting from both the tourists and residents of Port Said.
Amer Group is a real estate developer that offers mixed-use, family-oriented destinations. Amer has diversified its business in the primary and secondary homes market, as well as hotels, shopping malls, and restaurants; it has five operational hotels in Egypt with 919 rooms, with total revenues of EGP 67m.
