Apple accounted for 47.1% of Egypt’s tablet sales in April, leading the domestic tablet market. Apple’s share increased by nearly 3% compared to March, when its market share was 44.3%.
Samsung came second on the list with 34% of market sales in April 2018 compared to 39.4% in March.
Samsung’s market share of tablet sales declined in April by 5.4% compared to its share in March, according to a report issued by StatCounter.
According to the statistics, Tecno Mobile accounted for 2.1% of tablet sales, coming third on the list by the end of April 2018, versus a market share of 2% in March.
Meanwhile, Alcatel-Lucent doubled its market share in Egypt in April, increasing its market share to 1.12% compared to 0.5% in March 2018.
In fourth place came Acer, which accounted for 0.41% of market sales in April, versus 0.31% in March.
In last place came Sony Ericsson. Its tablet market share in Egypt reached 0.14% in April compared to 0.12% in March.
