Mohammed El Sayed Badr, a 39-year-old Egyptian, was appointed as the dean of the Macromedia Media School in Munich, Germany after intense competition with 17 German professors.
Both the German Embassy in Cairo and Egyptian Ministry of Manpower and Immigration, on Monday, congratulated Badr on his new position in different statements.
Nabila Makram, minister of manpower and immigration, said, “we are really very proud of the Egyptians abroad’s high capabilities and the value they add to their institutions in different areas. Egyptians can be appointed to high level posts regardless of their young ages.”
Badr becamethe youngest Egyptian expatriate to be appointed as the dean of a German media faculty. He also named Germany’s best university professor in 2017.
