Housing and Development Bank (HDB) launched the Floosy Phone service, which offers clients and non-clients a range of safe and modern solutions, enabling them to meet their needs and make their daily payments with ease and safety using mobile phones.
According to Fathy El Sebaey, chairperson of the bank, the launch of the service is an important step in the framework of the bank’s targeted development plan for the coming period, and to keep abreast of the rapid development of technology and expand the base of providing electronic financial services to the largest number of users, which will support the state’s move towards financial inclusion.
El Sebaey noted that HDB will launch e-banking services before the end of the current year, and is expanding its ATM network, which now stands at 215 machines.
After downloading the app, the Floosy Phone service allows customers to deposit and withdraw funds from their e-wallets, inquire about their balance, pay bills, renew licenses, recharge phone credit, and transfer funds to other wallets.
Moreover, the service allows the bank’s clients to pay the premiums of their residential units, make donations, and renew subscriptions, along with a range of other services that are available on the Fawry network. The service is capped at EGP 6,000 per day.
