2nd CSR Forum to be held focusing on Suez Canal Region

Driven by the belief that developing societies comes with the help of private sector, along with governments, Egypt’s CSR Forum holds its second forum this year in Port Said.

Aiming to build a bridge, of which both sides meet to come up with ideas to develop Egyptian society, the CSR Forum targets creating a state of integration between the government, business sector and civil society efforts to achieve a real development in the Egyptian governorates.

With more than 500 sustainability experts and stakeholders, in addition to businesspersons, investors, and government and NGOs representatives, the one-day event is to take place in September.

The forum highlights the actual needs of the governorates of the Suez Canal Region, including Port Said, Ismailia, and Suez, as well as discussing the government’s plans to achieve a sustainable and balanced development.

The event is organised by CSR Egypt, the company which aims through this event to “shed light on the sustainable investment opportunities and discus the methods of merging the business sector in Egypt Vision 2030,” the press release states read, adding, “the forum will address the mechanisms of creating comprehensive economic and social development in the Suez Canal Region and determining the competitive advantages of each of the three governorates.”
