MCIT, Military Production Ministry form committee to discuss cooperation between two ministries

The Ministries of communications and military production agreed to form a committee to find out the most important points of cooperation that will be utilised at the initial stages and to implement them, according to the requirements and needs of each ministry, in line with the state’s sustainable development plan 2030.

This came during a meeting between Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Saeed Al-Assar and Minister of Communications Amr Talaat at the headquarters of the Information and Computer Systems Centre of the Ministry of Military Production, in order to discuss aspects of cooperation between the two parties and contribute to the implementation of the national projects of the state.

During the meeting, Al-Assar reviewed the technological capabilities of the Information and Computer Systems Centre of the ministry and the most important projects that contributed to its implementation with the participation of a number of different bodies, including supervision of the operation of the bread system, and the ration goods using smart family card. He expressed his desire to enhance cooperation with the Ministry of Communications by taking advantage of the technological capabilities of the Ministry of Communications to support the centre in order to develop it, whereby it can contribute to the implementation of national projects with a high degree of accuracy and quality.

The Minister of Communications was accompanied on a tour of the Information and Computer Systems Centre to learn about the latest technological and technical capabilities used by the centre.

For his part, Talaat expressed his confidence in the technological, technical, and operational capabilities of the centre and with the full preservation of the confidentiality of the information, which encourages fruitful cooperation and benefit from the expertise available to both parties to establish an integrated work system that can be exploited in the implementation of projects, which are implemented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, training and qualifying a generation of young people on the latest ICT technologies to be able to innovate in various fields, in order to transform into a digital society.
