Zobaa added that this report will have great importance and will differ from other reports prepared by OBG on Egypt since the signing of the first MoU in 2011, as it comes under the unprecedented attention of the Egyptian government to the economic issues. This comes as the government has made great strides in improving the investment climate and business environment, foremost of which is the new investment law and the development of the work system at the investor services centres of GAFI, as well as the clear and practical interest in attracting more local and foreign investments.
Based on the MoU, OBG is committed to refer to GAFI in press releases, interviews, and any printed materials it prepares in the report as a key partner, and allow a number of GAFI staff members to use the information and data available in the OBG library. Meanwhile, GAFI is committed to make the report available to foreign delegations and official entities outside Egypt and to provide a suitable environment for OBG members who will prepare the report to conduct their research either within GAFI or within the entities related to the report.
