EGYPTAIR pilgrimage mission in Jeddah held an initial intensive meeting to discuss easily return flights to Egypt, according to a press statement of the company early this week.
Mission Cheif, Mohammad Abdel Wahab, affirmed his company’s collaboration with the Saudi authorities and pilgrimage stakeholders to ensure committing airports procedures in Jeddah and Madina Munawara.
On 15 August, EGYPTAIR ended pilgrimage travels phase upon the pre-set plan which focussed on transporting the biggest numbers of pilgrims in a very regular departure and arrival times.
The company operated 337 flights to transport 64,000 pilgrims to Jeddah and Madina Munawara airports, according to the released data of the company.
The statement reaffirmed the company’s readiness for flights return, noting that the last pilgrimage flight is scheduled to return to Egypt in September.
