Qalaa Holdings, announced participation with scholarship providers, from the private sector, civil society to organize the first forum to communicate with young people who have received scholarships after completing their degrees, and return to work in Egypt.
Ghada Hammouda, CMO & Head of Marketing Communications at Qalaa Holdings, expressed her pride in the company’s participation in this constructive initiative, which aims at exchanging views and experiences between the company and scholarship holders. This will contribute to creating an interactive platform for coordinating efforts and co-operation in achieving youth aspirations and meet the needs of the labour market and the Egyptian economy.
This partnership is part of Qalaa’s ongoing efforts to contribute to the development of the educational system and to provide the Egyptian youth with excellent educational opportunities.
Qalaa Holdings Scholarship Foundation is the flagship of Citadel Capital’s initiatives, the largest privately-funded scholarship program in Egypt, to support young Egyptian students in completing their academic careers and earning high degrees from leading universities and international institutions.
More than 3,0000 young people benefited Qaala Holding’s scholarships, educational initiatives, over the course of 12 years, the Foundation has provided 184 scholarships for students from 14 Egyptian governorates to study in 60 international universities in more than 14 countries, covering 23 different specialities, especially the modern scientific disciplines.
The forum, which will be held on September 3, will include a panel discussion of some of the recipients of the scholarships awarded by the Citadel Foundation to present their experiences from admission to travel to repatriation, as well as discussing the current challenges and opportunities to improve the system of higher scholarships offered by the private sector and donors.
As well as how to achieve aspirations and maximize returns of returnees with all their potential and potential. In addition to Citadel Capital, the Organizing Committee of the Forum will include the Sawiris Community Development Foundation, Amideast, the Ford Foundation and the Misr Al Khair Foundation.
