Jushi Egypt For Fiberglass Industry SAE relies on exportation of 98% of its total production in the local market, sources from the company told Daily News Egypt, adding that the company’s main markets are Turkey, France, Germany, Eastern European countries.
“We have completed our three lines project with its additional complementary phase with investments worth $580m,” said the sources, noting that Egyptian market is very stable market which encourages Jushi and other investors to inject money in the market.
Early this year, Jushi held a ceremony for the company’s production reaching 200,000 tonnes annually, joined by the company’s clients in Europe and the US.
On January, Jushi Egypt announced that the company will sign a cooperation agreement with the National Research Institute to establish a research centre for composite materials in Egypt at the end of January, in order to contribute to the develop of the fiberglass industry in the Egyptian market.
The company employees 2,000 persons, noted the sources, adding that the company always announces new vacancies when it is needed for the company.

“10% of our employees are Chinese while the whole 90% are Egyptians according to the Egyptian Labour Law,” said the sources, adding that JUSHI Egypt is committed with small scale CSR activities.
The fiberglass products of Jushi have wide applications and, as a functional or structural material, can be used to manufacture FRP profiles, pipes, pressure vessels, chemical tanks, sanitary apparatus, boat hulls, automobile parts, sports equipment, engineering plastics and construction, explained the sources.

Jushi Egypt has opened the third line for fiberglass production factory in the southern region of Ain Sokhna, making the total production capacity of the project 200,00 tonnes of fiberglass on August.
Mohab Mamish, the chairperson of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) said that the project contributed to generating many jobs, adding that the expansion of foreign investments in the region reflects the success of policies and the administration to attract more investments, as well as raise the classification of the region.
Mamish added that the presence of Suez Canal as a focal point adds an advantage to the area and helps create new paths for cooperation with the Chinese side, in addition to improving the opportunities available for the region in terms of logistical services.
