ECS contributes to providing 104 export opportunities worth $75m in September

The Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS) offices participated in the completion of export contracts, and the availability of 104 export opportunities, valued at about $75m, for a number of Arab and European markets, according to Minister of Trade and Industry, Amr Nassar.

Nassar added that the ECS offices have succeeded in organising Egyptian participation in five international exhibitions, as well as organising 70 visits and commercial missions. They also prepared 271 reports and marketing studies.

Additionally, Nassar noted that the ECS offices dealt with a total of 1,496 promotion requests and commercial inquiries.

Ahmed Antar, head of the ECS, added that the efforts of the commercial offices abroad have contributed towards providing several investment opportunities, as well as arranging for multiple events and visits, in order to attract foreign investments to Egypt.

The ECS office in Beijing arranged a visit for a delegation of the East Port Said Development company to visit China in order to promote East Port Said’s industrial zone. In Guangzhou, an economic forum was held, besides, a visit by an Italian mission to Alexandria was also scheduled from 16 to 18 September.
