The fifth annual session of Egypt Automotive is set to begin on 4 December under the title of Electric Cars: Clean Future. Requests to attend the summit have already been on the rise from officials, experts, and foreign companies interested in investing in the conference being one of the most important specialised exhibitions in the region.

Mohamed Aboul Fattouh, CEO of Egypt Automotive, said that the fifth edition of the conference aims to highlight the changing trends in the Egyptian automotive sector and clarify the most important players in the industry, which is witnessing a technological momentum that requires more efforts and investments to keep abreast of the rapid developments in the automotive industry, in parallel with the interest of the state in the sector.

The conference will include an explanation of the government’s vision over the next five years, regarding the car industry’s strategy and the presentation of investment opportunities available at the Suez Canal Economic Zone, which has become a mecca for investors, following the recent efforts of the government to encourage domestic and foreign investments.

He added that the conference will highlight the importance of electric cars in the future and the role of the state in creating a climate conducive to the trade and manufacture of electric cars and its environmental impact in Egypt.

The annual car summit held four previous sessions under the patronage of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Public Business Sector, the Suez Canal Economic Zone, and a large number of government bodies, private companies, and media institutions.
