Sharm El Sheikh to host Africa Forum 2018 with 3,000 participants in December

The Africa Forum 2018 will be held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, from 7 to 9 December under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, to discuss future development in the continent.

A number of leaders from African countries will participate in the forum, to stimulate investment in strategic sectors, and to establish a full partnership phase to benefit from investment opportunities in the economic, commercial, financial, and entrepreneurship sectors.

The forum will be organised by the ministry of investment and international cooperation, in collaboration with ministry of foreign and the COMESA Regional Investment Agency. It aims to achieve greater regional and investment integration among the countries of the continent, and to highlight priority strategic sectors to attract new capital to the continent, mainly in infrastructure, energy, trade, information and communication technology, and emerging projects.

According to the organisers, more than 3,000 participants have been registered so far, representing large companies and young entrepreneurs across the world.
