Taha Ajlan, the undersecretary of the education’s ministry in Qaliubiya, ordered the forming of an investigation committee to look into the case of forcing a female student to take off her clothes in a school’s bathroom in Toukh in Qaliubiya.

Ajlan said that the social specialist, and any other person involved in the incident, will be administratively investigated if proven guilty.

The preparatory student’s mother filed a complaint at the Qaliubiya Directorate of Education, accusing a female social specialist of stripping her daughter off her clothes, over a theft claim of the specialist’s cell phone.

The mother said in her complaint that her daughter was eventually proved to be not guilty over the theft. She also explained that she initially lodged her complaint to the school’s director, who, according to her, dismissed her daughter from the school.

Moreover, the mother added in her testimony during the investigations that a school teacher threatened her with spreading a “porn video” of her daughter on social media in case she contacts the directorate.

Furthermore, the social specialist took her daughter to the school’s bathroom and ordered her to take her whole clothes off, to search for her missing cell phone, as stated by the mother.

“She instructed her to ‘take off your whole clothes, I want to see you as your mother born you’,” the mother narrated during the investigations.

The student’s mother noted that she decided to escalate the matter, after she observed how the incident affected her daughter’s welfare, and due to the humiliation which she experienced.
