Cemento Ready Mix will participate with Redcon Construction in building a 42-floor and 172-metre-height tower in the New Alamein City, the highest in the northeastern city, Mohamed Yehia, CEO of Cemento, told Daily News Egypt on Wednesday during the Egyptian Building Material Summit (EBMS).
He added that President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi requested that all companies complete the 22th floor of their construction projects by 30 June, as the president aims to open a recreation area, to be established by Cemento, along with the Alamein University.
Cemento will also participate with Orascom Construction in establishing four towers, and other three towers with Hassan Allam Sons in New Alamein City during the coming next years.
Yehia added that his company will complete the establishment of El-Dabaa nuclear power plant by 1 September. Cemento is also establishing 30-floor towers, recreation areas, and residential and administrative buildings in the 75-acre Maspero project.
Moreover, Cemento entered many tenders, including Borg El Arab Airport and Ain Sokhna-Al Alamein High Speed Railway, which involves the construction of a 534 kilometers high-speed railway between the Red Sea and the Mediterranean in Egypt.
On the other hand, Ahmed Hamdy, director of projects management at the Akam Developments, told Daily News Egypt that his company is targeting to establish “happy communities” in the New Administrative Capital.
The company is working now on establishing a new community called “Scenario” at the New Capital, and is planning to launch another one.
Hamdy added that Akam’s main objective is to provide its clients with a relaxing environment that offers all services while maintaining a sense of home and security, noting that every building will include daycares and gyms overlooking swimming pools.
