According to the Deputy Chairperson and Managing Director of the HDB, Hassan Ghanem, the new branches are located in Mahalla Al-Kubra, Abbasiya, Obour City, and Nasr City.

Ghanem added that the opening of these branches comes within the bank’s expansion strategy that aims to deliver all its services and products to as many customers as possible in line with the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) strategy of financial inclusion.

He explained that the HDB’s new branch in Nasr City (Energy Branch) is located behind Al Ahly FC, and it is the bank’s third branch in Nasr City. Another branch was opened at the Obour University to serve students, professors, and employees. The bank’s new Abbasiya branch is the first in the area to serve its customers.
