Tatweer Misr signed a partnership agreement with Orange Egypt in order to provide triple play services for Fouka Bay, one of Tatweer Misr’s three projects in Egypt, which are IL Monte Galala in Sokhna, Fouka Bay in North Coast, and Bloomfields in Mostakbal City.
According to the agreement, Orange Egypt is expected to launch these services in Fouka Bay by June 2019.
Orange’s triple play services include the provision of landline, television, and internet services through one outlet based on fibre optic cables. The service will provide an enormous flow of information that can reach up to one gigabyte, as well as facilitating the connection to a variety of other services inside and outside the residential and commercial units, such as controlling the security, water, and electricity systems.
The agreement is part of Orange’s strategy to combine its power in mobile services, and the expertise in digital services in order to ensure the successful design and development of the smart cities and smart homes programmes.
Ahmed Shalaby, the CEO and managing director of Tatweer Misr, said, “Triple play services will be available in all the residential and commercial units within the compound, providing maximum speed for internet connection. Orange will also provide IPTV services with high quality 4K television channels, as well as voice services such as fixed line IP telephony service via a highly sophisticated internal telecom network.”
For his part, Yasser Shaker, the CEO and managing director of Orange Egypt, said that the implementation of this agreement will help provide high-quality triple play services (voice, image, data), as Orange will be supervising these services starting from the implementation, operation, and management till expansion and deployment. Orange is also committed to provide the highest levels of professional quality and efficiency to serve its customers.
