Two Palestinians were killed, and another was injured by Israeli military forces in Kafr Neimah village, west of Ramallah in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, on Monday morning, the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated.
Media reports said the Israeli army opened fire on a vehicle driven by Palestinians that allegedly attempted to ram Israeli soldiers at the entrance of kafr Neimah, injuring two.
The ministry stated that the Israeli forces abducted the third injured Palestinian in unknown place, and they couldn’t identify how bad were his injuries.
Khaldoun Al-Deek, the head of Kafr Neimah village’s council, stated that it was merely an accident and it was not deliberate attack as the military claims, adding that the vehicle slid due difficult landforms and they could not see the Israeli soldiers.
After the attack, the Israeli forces invaded Kafr Neimah, searched homes, and abducted several Palestinians. Moreover, they closed main roads and sieged the village.
Dozens of Palestinians suffered the severe effects of teargas inhalation after Israeli soldiers invaded the village and fired gas bombs. The occupation forces withdrew from the village seven hours after the siege.
