Egypt’s upcoming international tech innovation summit, Narrative Disruptors, will host Elizabeth Linder, the executive director at global travel and tourism promotion platform Beautiful Destinations, during its first edition which will take place on the 14 April at the Nile Ritz Carlton.
This will be the second time Linder visits Egypt in the past few months to share her expertise on how to boost Egypt’s vital tourism industry in today’s digitally-connected world.
In October 2018, Linder joined international public relations forum Narrative PR, and met with the Minister of Tourism, Rania Al-Mashat, in order to promote creating inspiring travel content to showcase Egypt’s tourism sites, build the country’s exposure, and boost its reputation in the tourism sector.
Beautiful Destinations is the world’s largest travel community on social media with over 20 million followers in 180 countries on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, and Weibo.
Lamia Kamel, the CEO of CC Plus, the multi-disciplinary corporate communications firm behind Narrative PR Summit, stated, “Social media websites are today’s most instrumental marketing tools that reach out to users, identify their interests and engage them. They have gone beyond the traditional use for sharing, browsing and the exchange of information to become a new power defining the future of governments, leading to their restructuring and reshaping the services they offer,” further adding, “Social media guides policymakers in identifying priorities and choosing between available opportunities while encouraging the public to accept new schemes, policies and plans.”
Narrative Disruptors is the product of the third edition of Narrative PR Summit. The event is the first implementation of the summit’s 2018 key recommendations.
