President Abdel Fattah Al-sisi met on Wednesday with the head International Organisation of La Francophonie (IOF), Louise Mushikiwabo, where they discussed mutual cooperation.
Sisi said Egypt looks forward to boosting cooperation with the support of countries in the African continent during the meeting, and that he aims that the cooperation would support African countries in empowering youth and women, encouraging entrepreneurship, and combating terrorism and extremism.
He also said Cairo is also willing to offer the necessary expertise to the organisation in the context of Egypt’s 2019 presidency of the African Union.
The OIF that was founded in 1970 represents 88 countries where French is spoken.
