Hapi Tours announced on Sunday the appointment of a new executive management team hired in March 2019, with the aim of restructuring the business to drive growth.
Alaa Rady has been appointed as a member of the board and oversees setting the strategy and directing the restructuring and to improve Hapi Tours. His aim is to make it competitive and capable of reaching its maximum potential.
Rady is one of Egypt’s most competent strategic business management consultants with an impeccable international track record of turning companies around in less than one year.
Taking the position of CEO is Mohamed Mahmoud, who has over 20 years of experience in diversified investment, strategy experience, private equity, investment banking, and mergers and acquisitions.
Commenting on the restructuring, Mahmoud said, “One of the first steps we’re going to take is to combine our special courier and airfreight business divisions into one powerful business unit given the synergies they share.”
Mahmoud elaborated that both divisions have great financial and operational performance “that will soon be independently managed by world class courier and cargo professionals.”
He added that the company’s goal is to expand across north Africa in the next three years.
“Furthermore, we have an aggressive go-to-market plan that will double the special courier division in the coming 18 months,” Mahmoud stressed.
