This morning, the ministry of public enterprise sector launched the Gosour application to facilitate trade in Africa.
The Minister of Public Enterprise Sector, Hesham Tawfik, said during his speech at the ‘Gosour for International Trade in Eastern and Central Africa’ conference that, the application will record customer data and all data related to shipments from the details of cargo, shipping, transportation, destination, and various means of communication.
He explained that the application was prepared by the Microsoft Corporation.
Tawfik opened the ‘Gosour for International Trade in Eastern and Central Africa’ conference in the presence of Minister of Trade and Industry, Amr Nassar, and Chairperson of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Abdel-Moneim Al-Tara.
The ministry plans to launch an integrated and sophisticated series of transport and logistics services to support the foreign trade system and provide bridges to Africa for the promotion of intra-trade.
The incentives provided by the ministry include the provision of sea freight services from the port of Ain Sokhna to east Africa at prices that are 20% lower.
