Bibliotheca Alexandrina hosts the 18th edition of the world’s biggest cardiology event, CardioAlex, connecting the world’s most renowned cardiologists and professors to deliberate on leading-edge research and technological advancements in cardiology.
CardioAlex features around 211 special educational panels contented by 811 chairpersons and speakers who will be moderating discussions on the future of cardiology. The four-days conference is expecting the participation of 6,500 visitors from around the world coming to witness 89 international legendary professors and lecturers.
Cardiologist Mohammed Sobhi, CardioAlex founder, said, “We are now the largest medical event at the local and global level. We aim to connect cardiologists from all over the world through the largest live broadcast from different countries, including Germany, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Turkey, to share different experiences and stand on the latest research and discoveries made by Cardiology Worldwide.”
Moreover, a number of local and international educational and medical entities are joining the conference, including the American College of Cardiology, the World Heart Federation, Joint Intervention Meeting, IMC Live, Middle East CVCT, Pan-Africa Society of Cardiology, Gulf Intervention Society, PAFCIC, Turkish Society of Intervention, and Cardio LBB-Yamen.
Among the most important topics for discussion are international treatments for patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction, such as catheterisation for ventricular hypertrophy patients, which will be studied during a live transmission from Hamburg, Germany. The panels are also discussing the role of cardiac pacemakers in the treatment of recurrent fainting, as well as modern cardio-strengthening devices such as plexus stimulation instead of implanting the triglyceride chamber.
