The Minister of Social Solidarity and Chairperson of Nasser Social Bank, Ghada Waly, said that there is a comprehensive plan for the development of the bank’s branches.
Waly explained that this plan includes the establishment of a new head office in the Sixth of October City and the restructuring and development of its branches to facilitate efficient access to services in the shortest possible time.
The plan also includes developing procedures of banking operations, improving services offered to customers, developing bank information systems in the software and hardware areas, modernising the network and systems of protection and technical support, as well as the purchase of ATMs.
The development plan of Nasser Social Bank, according to Waly, also includes the allocation of NETS for seniors, patients, and people with special needs from the bank’s customers in all branches to facilitate their presence at the bank.
She pointed out that 17 branches are on the development agenda during the coming period, and the rest of the branches will be developed successively to include all 94 branches of the bank throughout the country.
The bank plans to complete two new branches: The King Mariout branch in Alexandria and Abu Tij branch in Assiut. Furthermore, it also plans to establish five new branches across different governorates; Luxor, Sohag, Aswan, Minya, and Beni Suef.
