Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi is set to inaugurate on Tuesday the 7th edition of the National Youth Forum at the New Administrative Capital in the presence of 1,500 youth.
The forum will be held under the auspice of Al-Sisi and in the presence of many public figures, journalists, and ambassadors. This edition will focus on discussing recent adopted measures as part of the economic reform.
The forum’s agenda will include a simulation model on the first day, besides the first conference of the state-sponsored Decent Life initiative launched by Al-Sisi early 2019 with the aim of providing better living conditions for Egyptians.
On the second day, the forum will see the graduation of African students from the country’s presidential programme to train African youths.
Moreover, Al-Sisi will answer questions sent to “Ask the President” social media page, then will hold an open discussion with the attending youth.
In October 2016, the first youth conference took place in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh. The forum aims to open wide-scale discussions between young people and the president.
Many key issues are being addressed within the activities of the conference, these issues are related to state’s foreign relations and domestic affairs, as well as the country’s national security.
