Elsewedy Electric announced that its subsidiary Elsewedy Electric for Trading & Distribution (Elsewedy Electric T&D) has signed a new engineering procurement and construction contract worth EGP 308m, to build a transmission line and internal network 33 KV in favour of the Canal Sugar Company.
The contract specifies the construction of an internal network of 33 KV with a length of 180 KM with a value of EGP 255 million on turnkey basis. The EPC contract will be implemented over a 24 – month.
Also, the construction of 33 KV transmission line with a value of EGP 52.8m on turnkey basis. the EPC contract will be implemented over 6 months commencing from the date of signing the contract and receiving the advance payment.
In April, Elsewedy Electric T&D signed a contract with EGP 445m to build a substation and a transmission line for canal sugar company in Egypt.
The total contracts assigned in favour of Canal Sugar Company stood at around EGP 753m.
