The second edition of the Think Commercial round-table to kick start on Tuesday, 27 August under the title “How can real estate become attractive for investment and tourism.”
The meeting will tackle the mechanisms of marketing touristic properties, to exploit the tourism boom witnessed in Egypt, in a way that stimulates Egypt’s real estate market sales.
The roundtable will be held under the patronage of Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar.
The round-table, is organised by Media Avenue company which specialise in organising conferences. It will see the presence of major real estate developers that are specialised in coastal development, in addition to the investment, mortgage, economic, and commercial experts concerned with the sector, alongside government officials and parliament members.
Moreover, the round-table aims to develop new ideas and proposals to promote tourism projects marketing and increase the number of tourists coming to Egypt.
It also will present Egypt’s opportunities to have a larger global share of real estate sales to foreigners, high competitiveness of the local currency against foreign currencies. Furthermore, the attractiveness of Egypt’s real estate prices, compared to prices in neighbouring countries or other foreign countries.
Specialists and investors will be presenting the real situation of touristic real estate market, the challenges that developers are facing currently, the changes in policies of companies in terms of property sales to foreigners, and the competition between real estate developers of this kind of projects during this period.
Additionally, discussion on the possibility of launching a global marketing platform for Egyptian properties, connecting real estate and tourism companies with foreign companies and marketing agencies in countries with high tourist arrivals to market coastal and touristic projects.
Moreover, the round-table will discuss ways of benefiting from government support for selling and marketing Egyptian property to foreigners and the possibility of providing mortgage finance to foreign buyers.
Accordingly, the round table’s discussions will include ways to benefit from the offices of EgyptAir and commercial representation in marketing tourism and coastal projects and support tourism promotion.
