Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), in partnership with the Shared Services and Outsourcing Network (SSON) will be hosting the Shared Services and Outsourcing Forum Middle East 2019 in Egypt for the first time on 3rd – 4th September at the Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo.
The event comes in line with Egypt’s vision to strengthen its position as EMEA’s countries’ shared services and outsourcing hub. The forum is officially supported by Egypt’s Minister of Communications & Information Technology, Amr Talaat, who will be delivering the opening speech.
ITIDA CEO, Halal El-Gohary said, “We’re so thrilled to host such an event in Egypt. It will be a great opportunity for experts and industry leaders to meet and discuss the future of shared services and outsourcing business models. In addition, the event is the right venue for us to showcase how Egypt has evolved from a cost-competitive and traditional outsourcing location into a hub for high end and value-driven services.
“What sets Egypt apart from other nearshore destinations in Europe, as well as on a global comparison is the high potentials to implement service centres on a meaningful scale,” she added.
The two-day forum will feature a number of international keynote addresses, industry expert panels, and more than 20 breakout sessions. The forum agenda is designed to ensure the forum works with the governments and private organisation’s key focus sectors and will deliver a packed and stimulating programme for the attendees.
