Under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Engineering Export Council (EEC) is launching the first edition of the Home Appliances and Tableware Show (HATS Egypt), which aims at promoting and creating export opportunities for Egyptian-made home appliances, tableware, and kitchenware during the period from 23 to 25 September in Cairo.
HATS Egypt is organised in partnership with Konzept – Cairo-based event management and market consultancy firm – and sponsored by the Export Development Bank of Egypt. The first edition will also be supported by the Export Development Authority.
The first day of the event will include product showcasing and 750 B2B meetings involving more than 50 buyers from countries in the Middle East and Africa, such as Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Ghana, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Morocco, and Sudan. The event will host 34 of top Egyptian manufacturers in home appliances, tableware, kitchenware, catering supplies, and feeder industries.
The event will also offer inspection visits of some Egyptian factories to further highlight the quality and capabilities of the local industry.
