Facebook announced that it is broadening its partnership with the RiseUp Summit, to include a more diverse range of cutting-edge programmemess and training underlining the company’s growing commitment to local and regional start-ups and developers.
One such pioneering initiative is ‘Developer Circles from Facebook’, a programmeme designed to nurture the local developer community with workshops and hands-on experience and help them access breakthrough technologies.
The RiseUp Summit, was launched in 2013 to drive entrepreneurship in Egypt and in MENA by providing a solid foundation of digital skills.
This year’s summit focused on seven tracks designed to guide startups on launching and maintaining their trajectory to success, including; Smart Capital, Creative Culture, Creative Economies, Tech for Humans, FinTech, Emerging Tech, and Growth Hacks. Keeping pace with its growing popularity, the 2019 edition of RiseUp has relocated from the AUC’s Greek Campus in downtown Cairo to the university’s larger more modern campus in New Cairo, offering participants more space and facilities.
