Egypt’s Ministry of Public Enterprise Sector announced that the offices of Talal Abu Ghazaleh were tasked with formulating a plan to technically, financially, and administratively restructure Misr Travel in order to restore its ability to provide its services to individuals, companies, and government institutions.
The ministry mentioned also that the company’s leadership changed, with talented people that had technical expertise in the tourism field, according to the harvest report 2019.
The Ministry also said that it was currently evaluating the competencies of the company’s second line employees to select highly talented participants to implement the restructuring plan.
The report pointed out that the ministry was about completing the establishment of an electronic platform for Egypt’s untraditional tourist destinations under the name “Touf w Shouf,” meaning (Move around and See).
The purpose of “Touf W shouf” electronic platform is to promote Egypt’s untraditional tourist destination, and to encourage one-day tourism trips for Egyptians and foreign residents.
