The Dutch capital Amsterdam will host the Integrated System Europe (ISE 2020) exhibition from 11 to 14 February, in the presence of 1,300 international companies.
Ahmed El Gohary, an expert in AV and systems integration, said the exhibition is the largest in the world for audiovisual technologies and systems, and about 80,000 people are expected to attend.
El Gohary would be the only Arab engineer in the exhibition this year.
He added that he would talk about his vision on how the higher education sector embraces professional AV systems, to help decision makers in the field of higher education create an attractive environment for generation z (those born between 1995 and 2012) students to keep up with the great technological development that the world is currently witnessing.
In the show, El Gohary would discuss ways of developing universities and research centres in Egypt, providing them with the latest AV systems to keep pace with global developments, especially since higher education enjoyed great attention from President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and state officials. For example, the state started constructing several modern universities in the New Administrative Capital.
El Gohary has a long practical and academic experience in AV and systems integration of 15 years, and currently works as a sales and business development consultant in a major company in the Middle East. He previously worked as a technical consultant at King Saud University. He is currently a staff member at AVIXA University which is one of the largest institutions in the world responsible for setting standards and metrics for AV technologies.
