Samo Holding, owner of Abu Auf trademark, has achieved EGP 450m in sales in 2019, and targets recording an increase of 40% in sales to register EGP 650m in 2020, according to CEO of Samo Trading Company Ahmed Auf.
Auf pointed out that the company has expansion plans to open new markets, increasing the current production volume of all its products to meet the needs of the Egyptian market, and increasing export rates.
He said that this is the company’s fifth time participating in the Gulfood exhibition, held at the World Trade Centre in United Arab Emirates from 16 to 20 February.
Auf highlighted that participating in Gulfood is a great opportunity to exchange experiences with the largest companies operating in the food industries sector, and open new export markets, and that Abu Auf will present a number of the best coffee, dried dates, chocolate, and crackers made from organic materials.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, representatives of Abu Auf will meet with representatives of major food companies in the world to discuss future cooperation opportunities.
Samo Holding was established in 1976 and has more than 120 distribution outlets throughout the Republic, and a fleet of cars for distribution reaching 50 cars, and has an expansion plan to increase the number of Abu Auf branches and chains by 30 to reach 150 branches by the end of 2020, at an investment cost of EGP 50m.
