WhoScored.com, the international website specialised in football statistics, has named Liverpool’s Egyptian star Mohamed Salah in its team of the month (February) in the English Premier League.
Salah played all his team’s league matches in February, to be the only Liverpool player to make WhoScored’s best squad last month, while Manchester United dominated the Best XI with four players.
Moreover, English Skawaka network reviewed the statistics of the most goals scored, beginning in the 2017-2018 season, as Salah ranked fourth among the most goals scored in the five major leagues since then.
Salah outperformed Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus striker, who scored 68 goals in the period. Tailing the list is Luis Suarez with 57 goals and Harry Kane in ninth rank.
Lionel Messi, Barcelona’s player, topped the list with 88 goals, then came to second place, Polish star Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich striker, with 76 goals, and Italian Lazio striker Ciro Immobile came in third with 71 goals.
