Forasna, blue collar recruitment portal, has announced that its customer companies will be granted a free month-long package for job announcements and connection with job seekers. The move comes in addition to the website’s launch of a new category for work-from-home jobs.
This comes at a time when many institutions and companies have begun reducing their workforce to reduce the physical presence for employees and to limit the spread of coronavirus.
Amir Sherif, CEO and co-founder of BasharSoft creator of Forasna and Wuzzuf, said the initiative’s aim is to act as a countermeasure for those affected by coronavirus. The measures seek to ease the financial burdens on companies, and to help business owners and job seekers.
He added that the step follows other initiatives launched by BasharSoft for the benefit of businesses and companies. Sherif added that his company aims to become a true link between business owners and job seekers, and reflects the role the company plays. He also said that BasharSoft’s goal is to create 1 million jobs by the end of 2020.
He noted that as the website observed an increase in job search rates, they wanted to provide more facilities to create more job opportunities for Egyptians during the current period.
