The Sixth of October Development and Investment Company (SODIC) is redirecting all its marketing resources to awareness and protection programmes on the coronavirus (Covid-19).
The move comes as part of stepped up efforts in combating the coronavirus outbreak by joining the global community in creating awareness about the pandemic and attempting to curb its spread.
SODIC announced a multi-level approach which will see the resources redirected to creating awareness through its outdoor billboards and digital platforms, in coordination with the Ministry of Health. The real estate development company will also donate ventilators and monitors to the Sheikh Zayed Specialized Hospital, for a dedicated unit equipped to receive Covid-19 patients.
There will also be protection packages distributed in Ezebt Khairallah, providing the community with immunity boosters, sanitisation material, and hygiene instructions.
With over 15,000 residents in its communities, SODIC is taking strict precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of its residents and tenants. It is diligently working to disinfect and thoroughly clean the public and communal areas, as well as residential buildings, across all its projects.
SODIC is also liaising with different community outlets to ensure the comfort and safety of its residents, in the event that additional country wide measures are taken to contain the outbreak.
SODIC Managing Director Magued Sherif said, “These efforts stem from our responsibility towards the health and safety of our employees and their families, and the health and safety of the communities living in our developments and of society at large.”
