Electricity companies affiliated to the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) have held their general assembly meetings last week, chaired by EEHC chairperson Gaber El Desouky.
In a statement, the EEHC said the meetings come as part of the continuous development of these subsidiary companies and their performance.
Meetings were held in the presence of the General Assembly members from electricity companies as well as a minimum number of subsidiary board members to discuss and approve budgets for the fiscal year 2020/21.
The EEHC added that during the meetings, planning for the corporate budget was discussed, with emphasis placed on achieving budget objectives. Also on the table for discussion were improving work levels at companies, and improving performance rates.
General Assembly members also stressed the need to implement investment projects, in addition to replacement, renewal, and maintenance of electricity sector facilities.
This would take place according to approved timetables and with an emphasis on workers’ safety.
