Real estate developer Landmark Sabbour has signed an agreement with the Ahl Masr Foundation to support its campaign protecting healthcare personnel working in government hospitals.
The partnership is in line with efforts to support Egypt’s healthcare system in its response to the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and curb its spread.
Amr Sultan, Managing Director of Landmark Sabbour, and Heba El Sewedy, Founder and Chairwoman of the Ahl Masr Foundation, signed the protocol which will see Land Mark Sabbour providing and distributing a set of protective clothing to healthcare staff in Al Al-Qasr Al-Eini and El Demerdash hospitals over a month.
“This partnership with Ahl Masr comes from our deep sense of social responsibility towards this country and its people,” said Sultan, adding “Effectively taking part in this initiative is our duty at this stage as we collectively stand in the face of this crisis and work to curb the spread of COVID-19.”
Sultan also said, “We stand behind all the noble efforts carried out by government institutions during these times, especially the work of healthcare providers. It is necessary to lend them a helping hand as they undertake this strenuous task, as a way to show our appreciation and gratitude for all the trouble they go through and sacrifices they make.”
“What we are doing as the Ahl Masr Foundation, along with many other local institutions and private-sector entities like Landmark Sabbour, is a required national duty that we all should be part of during these difficult times,” said Heba Elsewedy. “Our fellow citizens working in the healthcare sector are portraying a fine example of sacrifice every day as they are on the frontlines in the fight against the spread of the novel coronavirus. It is necessary that we show our support and help them overcome this difficult stage.”
