Egypt’s Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications (CIT) announced on Tuesday that it is partnering with the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) to support the local industrial sector. To do so, a new hotline, which can be reached on 15413, has been launched.
The first phase of the initiative has been assigned to Raya Contact Center, affiliated to the Raya Holding for Financial Investments, to provide inquiry handling services.
The service allows companies to report coronavirus cases and production components shortage, and request technical support for virtual meetings and digital programmes.
The call centre is set to process and answer all inquiries within 24 hours of receiving the request.
This phase will be followed by an integrated package of digital services to support the digital transformation in the industrial sector.
The CIT will rely on various marketing channels to announce the initiative’s stages, including social networking platforms and direct communication with all FEI’s divisions.
The initiative comes as part of efforts made by the state to address the negative impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
