Danone has joined forces with actress and mother Kinda Alloush and pediatricians specialising in children nutrition to increase awareness of infant nutrition.
With the coronavirus outbreak adding further stress, mothers have more questions than ever before about the best ways to maintain their children’s healthy immunity.
Danone and Alloush have partnered in a public initiative through social media, reaching out to seek advice and answers on pediatric nutrition from the experts. Alloush has encouraged other mothers to submit their questions for the experts to answer.
Danone is bringing together key opinion leaders and experts in the childcare and nutrition fields to answer questions and concerns that mothers might be asking themselves. This will help them to raise their children ready to face potential risks such as the current pandemic.
Their professional advice will dispel myths and rumours about child health and eating habits. This creates a much-needed, empathetic support system for all parents to refer to in these times of uncertainty, when parents are looking for credible sources of information online.
“We believe in the right of every parent to be sure that they are ensuring the proper nutrition for their child’s health and wellbeing to raise them ready,” said Danone’s General Secretary Director, Hanan Nayel. “By connecting them with the best professionals in child nutrition, Danone hopes to provide simple answers to questions mothers ask.”
