The Federation of Egyptian Banks (FEB) has made wearing medical face masks obligatory for citizens in bank branches, starting 17 May. It also stressed that banks should continue to take all preventive measures within the branches.
In a Monday statement, FEB stated that the new measures aimed at ensuring the safety and health of workers and customers in the banking sector amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.
FEB called on citizens to abide by these procedures, so that banks can continue providing their services smoothly and safely.
