Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El Said will be a keynote speaker in the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) webinar on Thursday.
The webinar dubbed “The Future of Entrepreneurship and MSMEs in the Arab World… Post COVID-19” will be held at 10 PM, Cairo time. ICSB webinar will tackle the future of entrepreneurship, ways to counter the effects of the pandemic on small business, how strategies in each country should be customized to meet specific needs and circumstances, and key principles can guide policymakers. It will be attended by Ahmed Osman, ICSB President, Amal Dukhan Global Entrepreneurship Network in Saudi Arabia, and Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP).
The webinar will witness the participation officials from the International Finance Corporation and several business executives.
According to the International Monetary Fund, small and medium enterprises are the cornerstone of the Arab economy, because they make up more than 90% of all businesses, and are the region’s top job creators.
