Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly held a meeting with Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and Chairperson of The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE) and Ayman Soliman,TSFE CEO, to follow up on the fund’s latest plans to launch specialized sub-funds.
Soliman showcased TSFE’ plans to attract investments to high-priority sectors at these challenging times amind the COVID-19 global pandemic.
These sectors include health care services including pharmaceutical producers; diagnostic service providers such as pathology labs, diagnostic imaging services, nursing care, hospitals, polyclinics; and other specialised facilities. Additionally, investments are targeted in agriculture, food manufacturing, infrastructure, and digital transformation sectors.
Madbouly reviewed the details of these projects and the timetable for their implementation. Soliman explained that there is a great desire on the investors’ part of to have partnership with TSFE in light of the resilience of the Egyptian economy and the strength of the fund’s assets.
