Representatives from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Public Authority for Health Care met to discuss cooperation in the institutional development and digital transformation fields.
The discussions come as part of the ministry’s coordination with state agencies and institutions to implement its strategy of institutional development using digital transformation. A range of operational excellence policies for state administrative units would be set, in addition to the development of digital transformation units.
The two sides agreed on the need and importance of a new business model to help the Public Authority for Health Care achieve digital transformation. This would include shortening procedures, increasing the speed of circulating information, effecting measurement indicators, activating the digital transformation unit, and providing decision support.
This would run in parallel with ongoing work to qualify and train employees to implement the business model. The meeting ended with the two sides developing an action framework for the next stage.
The joint cooperation comes as part of the ministry’s vision to build a digital Egypt through cooperation with ministries and relevant government agencies. This would see projects implemented that develop government services and re-engineer how the office work cycle takes place, providing a suitable environment to advance its service levels.
