Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi issued on Thursday a package of decrees approving several agreements signed by the government in different fields.
Among those agreements, two financial and technical cooperation deals with Germany for the fiscal year (FY) 2018 which were signed in November 2019 to support projects in the fields of energy, SMEs, drinking water and sanitation management, solid waste management, social development, and employment.
The president also approved exchanged letters between the Egyptian and German governments on promoting Egypt’s contribution to the “Migration for Development” programme. The 14-country global programme aims to develop professional prospects for economic and social participation in selected countries of origin for returning migrants, the local population, and internally displaced persons.
Further exchanged letters between Egypt and Germany on a platform for dialogue between experts on quality assurance in agricultural production were approved.
Al-Sisi also ratified a government decision to reallocate state lands with different areas in Fayoum governorate to the Armed Forces.
Moreover, the president issued a resolution to allocate a plot of state land in Al-Hanadi village of Esna town in Luxor for the construction of a drinking water plant, according to the Middle East News Agency.
Further two plots of state land in Qena governorate were allocated to establish cemeteries.
The president also assigned a plot of state land in Wadi Hajoul area of Suez governorate for the establishment of a sanitary landfill for solid waste.
