Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait directed to allocate more attention to human resource development at the Ministry in a way that contributes to improving the services provided to citizens.
In a statement on Thursday, Maait indicated that the plight of the coronavirus should be turned into a power to enhance human resource development at the Ministry through remote training using the latest technological tools in line with safety and public health measures to curb the spread of the virus.
He affirmed that the remote training comes within the Ministry of Finance’s plan to maximize digital capabilities and employ technology in the best way to deal with the repercussions of the coronavirus crisis, in a manner that ensures regularity of work taking into account full compliance with precautionary and preventive measures.
Maait pointed out that the national project to automate the tax and customs systems would be accelerated to stimulate the business community to continue production while abiding to the strict precautionary measures to retain employment and provide goods in markets.
