Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El-Gazzar announced on Thursday that all employees affiliated with the ministry should return to work as of Saturday 27 June. This group includes workers in administrative bodies of new cities and water and wastewater companies.
He stressed the need to take all precautionary measures, including wearing face masks.
Workers showing illness will be subject to medical tests and will not be allowed in workplaces before the results are issued.
