A total of 1,710 Egyptian expatriates will return home Thursday from Kuwait on 10 flights, according to Egypt’s Ministry of Manpower.
Minister of Manpower Mohamed Saafan has received an urgent report to that effect from the Ministry’s labour representation at the Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait.
The Ministry affirmed that it has been following up regularly on the conditions of Egyptian workers abroad since the emergence of the novel coronavirus.
Haitham Saad El-Din, spokesperson and media consultant for the Ministry of Manpower, said the 10 flights will land in Cairo, Sohag, and Alexandria airports.
