Egypt’s Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, arrived in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, for a one day visit on Saturday, at the head of a high level Egyptian delegation. Sudan’s Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdouk received the Egyptian delegate.
During the visit, Madbouly will address many issues of mutual concern between the two countries, including the ongoing dispute over the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).
The Egyptian delegation includes the country’s Ministers of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Health, Water Resources and Irrigation, and Trade and Industry.
During the one-day visit, Madbouly is set to meet with leaders from the Sovereignty Council of Sudan.
