The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) has signed a cooperation protocol with Hassan Allam Holding, to implement national projects in Egypt, as well as across the Arab and Africa regions.
AOI Chairperson Abdel Moneim El-Terras said the protocol comes as part of his company’s plan to enhance integration with national institutions.
He praised Hassan Allam Holding’s expertise in implementing mega projects of national priority in Egypt, in addition to its participation in establishing many vital projects in several Arab countries.
El-Terras added that, under the protocol, the engineering, construction, and infrastructure works for national projects will be implemented using materials and equipment manufactured by AOI factories and the company’s subsidiaries. These will be manufactured in accordance with international quality standards and at competitive market prices.
He noted that a joint committee was agreed upon, to study the implementation of future projects in Egypt, and across the Middle East and Africa. These projects include potable water treatment plants, sewage, solar power stations, and power stations.
El-Terras stressed that this cooperation will provide many job opportunities for young engineers and technicians, whilst also training them up to acquire skills and experience.
Hassan Allam, CEO of Hassan Allam Holding, expressed his confidence in the success of this cooperation due to the clear vision and strategy possessed by the AOI. He noted that the AOI’s expertise will be an asset in implementing the national development projects entrusted to it, and to overcome any obstacles to achieve all areas of cooperation to the highest efficiency and quality levels.
